ADwin-light-16 - cost-effective and easy to integrate

ADwin-light-16 is designed as a cost-effective alternative for applications requiring only a limited number of inputs and outputs (e.g. OEM applications). The same SHARC-DSP is used as in the „bigger“ ADwin-Gold and ADwin-Pro systems. High computing power is guaranteed.

The ADwin-light-16 system is currently available in the following versions:

  • L16-PCI: PCI plug-in board
  • L16-EURO: 19" plug-in module (Euro format)
  • L16-EXT: Compact metal enclosure for use on the desktop, for mounting into control cabinets or as portable device.

ADwin-light-16 standard features

  • 16 MB RAM for measurement data
  • 8 analog inputs, 16-bit

  • Interface for a serial bus, see HSM-24V module for 24 Volt signals

ADwin-light-16 options

The counters of the add-ons replace the counters of the basic version, so the counters are not additional. For the same reason, the add-ons with counters cannot be used in combination.

  • L16-CO1: 1 incremental encoder input (A,B) with 32-bit up/down counter
  • L16-DIO1: The DIO add-on contains
    • 32 digital configurable inputs/outputs
    • 1 SSI decoder
    • 1 CAN interface (high speed, alternatively low speed
    • 2 individually configurable 32-bit counters for the modes: pulse counter, PWM/period duty cycle, or as incremental encoder input (A,B) with up/down counter
  • L16-DIO2: The DIO add-on contains
    • 32 digital configurable inputs/outputs
    • 1 SSI decoder
    • 2 individually configurable 32-bit counters for the modes: pulse counter, PWM/period duty cycle, or as incremental encoder input (A,B) with up/down counter
  • L16-DIO3: The DIO add-on contains 32 digital configurable inputs/outputs
  • Bootloader for stand-alone operation
