User interfaces for ADwin on the PC
For the implementation of graphical user interfaces on the PC multiple programming languages and development environments are available. ADwin provides ready-to-use drivers based on DLL or ActiveX technology which can be easily integrated into your programming environment. With our ADwin drivers, you obtain direct access to communication and data exchange with your ADwin system.
Use PC software packages such as LabVIEW, DASYLab, MATLAB, DIAdem, Agilent VEE or Excel for visualizationand control of your test stand or production line.
The commands for control and data exchanges with ADwin are consistently available as VIs.
The ADwin modules provide you with all functions and are directly integrated into DASYLab.
For MATLAB, a proprietary and optimized ADwin driver is available. Communicate with ADwin from the command window or via M-files or seamlessly write your stand-alone solution for your control application.
Being as simple and concise as ADwin, Python is an ideal partner for fast real-time with ADwin systems. The current module version is also available in the Python Package Index.
ADwin supports you in working with DIAdem. Use the ADwin Blocks für single value or packet mode. Alternatively, you may write your own auto sequences with VB Script e.g. for testing tasks realized with ADwin systems.
The office applications Excel and Access communicate with ADwin using ActiveX and VBA. Generate your setpoint or calibration tables, send them to ADwin and let Excel visualize the results for further evaluation after the measuring task finished.
Including our ActiveX component into Agilent VEE, you are able to use the ADwin functions as ActiveX objects in your graphical user interface.
Run your ADwin real-time application with Scilab, the scientific open-source software package. ADwin ships with drivers for Windows and Linux.
All common programming languages such as Delphi, Visual Studio .NET, Visual Basic, Visual C/C++, C-Builder, LabWindows or Wonderware InTouch allow the inclusion of our DLL or ActiveX components. Almost every compiler or development environment supports at least one of the interfaces. Consequently, there is a large number of tools available for the design of your individual grapical user interface.
